Walking home after dinner on Sat, I passed a busload of snowboarders and skiers getting off from a day at Hunter Mt.  I refuse to hit that mountain again since I broke my wrist on the last run of the day (see bullet #3 of the black diamond sign). The snow this week has been wholly uncharacteristic for the northeast: light, dry and powdery, creating some exceptional conditions on even the worst maintained mountains.  Per a few of the boarders I talked to getting off the bus, it’s the best it’s been in the NE “since I started”  I think the kid was 20…
