Just Words? Word analysis of Obama's SOTU & 7... →
I found the analysis interesting. Especially the total word analysis as you see each president’s STOU is updated and moves farther away from decade’s old rhetoric.

Repost: Privacy & Social Network Sites: A Case Of... →
I completely agree with Mike Gotta’s post and echo his “health dose of skepticism”. The reason why young people put “all” their information online or freely available in social platforms is very much the same reason why in the 80’s and 90’s we would all freely open up any email that was sent directly to us, regardless of sender = we didn’t know yet...

BNE has Become Synonymous with Corporate Ad...
I read this article well over a month ago (Dec 9th) in the NY Times about the BNE tagger (Making a Name for Himself, With Just 3 Letters). Commuting anywhere in NY you’ll see the white and black stickers thrown up on any poll, box, glass, brick or sign. Going through 10,000 sticks a month, for the last 10 years you’d have to. Really what the fuck is the point when you have to live...

Glenn Beck #2 TV personality and #1 Web Idiot →
Oprah, Glenn, Leno, Ellen, Hugh Laurie, John Stewart, Charlie Sheen, Mark Harmon, Letterman, O’Reily are listed as the top ten. Note that Conservative men over 64 years old are responsible for the rise of Glenn and Bill O’Riely. Oprah holds rein over all women, and John Stewart and CoCo take up the young liberals.

Nothing in politics is certain as Hillary Clinton can attest to that, so when you have a candidate UTB’d* by liberal commentators before the election results are in, you know they’ve failed…

Trader Joe’s Line on MLK
The weather’s brightened up a bit here in New York. Just in time to hear the Southern Cali whiners crying about a little rain and a tornado watch. With more time on my hands, and this nicer weather enticing me to get out, I’ve been shopping more at our only Trader Joe’s. This Monday, the line was longer than I had ever seen it since they opened in 2006. The last...

Construction in the city is a daily obstacle you just have to expect living here. Unfortunately the city has been getting brazen with their drilling as repeatedly I’m hearing the jack…

I Hate Airplane WiFi: The Last Bastion of...
Sounds to me that you have self control issues when it comes to tech than you really have a problem with WiFi on the airplane. If you’re having trouble taking a break from email, might I suggest pushing away from the desk and taking a walk to the park without your pocket PC which tethers you to cyberspace?
I have no issue telling people I’ll get back to them when I can - I’m on...
